Both Corset and Bustier, are same as the Size in bra.Generally,A corset is designed to fit a proportionate figure, which most manufacturers assume is a waist 8 inches smaller than the under bust.For example, your full bust is 40 inches, your under bust is 37 and your waist is 32 inches.add 4 and your band size will be 36,this will also be your bra size and it is also same as the corset and bustier size be for you.

Let me take it for an example, if you wear a bra in 40DD, your bustier or corset size would be 40. certainly,If you wanted extra room/space, you would wear a 42. however,Most corsets and bustiers use high quality fabric which can be easily stretched which are made of stretch satin or lace or leather,providing extra room without having to go up a size. Many have a busk opening in front and laces in the back, some do lace in front and back, some have no front closure. some fitted with hook and eye or zipper closures that run up the back or sometimes they are laced up.The corset can be either an overbust or underbust, with or without straps so that garters and stockings are easily attached.

The standard size would be:
32 = A cup
34 =  A-B cup
36 = C-D cup
38 = D-DD cup

Hence, If you are smaller bust size but larger cup size,let go one size up.like its you are 34D wear a 36 bustier.

If you are larger bust size but smaller cup size,let go one size smaller,like its you are 36B try wearing a 34 bustier.

If your bust and cup size are very different, you can still make it work. If you have a very small bust and large cup size, then you will want to order by your cup size and have the top taken in. If you have a large bust and small cup size, then wear a push-up bra underneath to fill out the cups.
