Even though I typically wear a medium, I bought a large because I'm 5'9. It was still too short, so I exchanged for an XL. The XL was long enough, so I sewed a big dart on each side of the torso to nip it in. It looks so cute now! The first time I wore it, my boyfriend said, you look like a movie star in that thing! I just wish it would have been long enough in my true size.
